Technology and young Children

Technology is around us everyday and we give technology to children but its being abused children can learn from technology if used in the right way they can in different ways of learning and help them with their development its just depends on the person who shows or gives them the technology.

Prevention of child abuse

It talked about how us being teacher need to more involved as a community and do more. we need to be there for the children, we need to that person that is willing to be strong and have their back so they can be successful in life so they can become something and do more things and just be great and successful.

Media Violence in childrens lives

In my opinion i believe Media violence does affect children's lives. the media creates something different almost everyday. children become interested addicted, they become violent say words their not suppose to say they start fighting wanna become something their not and they learn quick from this. Most parents shove a phone or electronic device to their children and don't even care what they watch or what they do so most parents aren't even raising their children its seems to be the media 

Respecting and responding to diversity

The article was talking about how us being teachers or becoming teachers we need to be more serious and be more involved with families, help families out, get to know more than one language and by learning a different language it can benefit you and the child.

violence in the lives of children

The story talked about how children in america witness violence acts,also mentions that in 1991 2.7 million children were reported, theses children were victims of neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and emotional maltreatment. violence is mimicked and influenced by the media. violence happens everyday 

Learning, Reading and Writing

Reading opens our minds, and provides educational opportunities otherwise unattainable.which can broaden and change our lives. Reading and writing is are important skills for a child to know and plays an important  and significant role in their lives, reading to infants not only help with brain development but will give them the love and respect for reading and good literature, this will also help them with good communication skills with other people and give parents more cuddle time with their children or child.

Tolerance

After watching the video in class and looked at the website on Tolerance, i realized that diversity is good thing to learn and bring into a classroom. The kids in the video were learning about all of kinds such as socioeconomic diversity religion diversity, family style diversity. i think its a great way to get to know people and their background and by teaching the children about these things it lets them have an open mind of different cultures, race and it makes them get to now more abut different.Its a good thing to know and it will make people, I feel we need to encourage this more so children and families can build a bond not only with friends but with classmates , peers, co-workers and make them feel good about themselves and their community. Everyone has different ways of learning or learning styles , or learning abilities but we should welcome every child

When it comes to a second language i think its important to know the language and learn about the the culture. families and children that are bilingual can pick up easily on a new language so, they have that advantage of learning faster and become fast learners in school or work. they have cultural advantages,communicative advantages and much more. Its good that children learn when their young it enhances and enriches their growth and mental development.the younger they are the faster and better they'll learn.Speaking more than one language from an early age introduces the idea that the world is a diverse place with different languages and cultures to explore.Schools should strive to create an environment where all children feel valued and all children can learn.For some children being in a diverse school or college can prepare them for the real world. Diversity and learning go hand in hand. People of different cultural, ethnic, religious, and societal backgrounds bring their various experiences with them when they come into a classroom.
